HISTORIC ANNOUNCEMENT: ST. THÉRÈSE OF LISIEUX RELIC TO TRAVEL TO KNOCK
For the first time in history, the major Carfin relic of St. Thérèse of Lisieux will journey from Scotland to Ireland.
Sunday, 13th July 2025
Knock Shrine, County Mayo
This cherished relic — the heel bone of the Little Flower — was a personal gift from the Carmelite Sisters of Lisieux to Canon Thomas Taylor, founder of Carfin Grotto and tireless apostle of St. Thérèse.
This sacred occasion marks a profound moment of spiritual unity between Carfin Grotto and Knock Shrine, and between Scotland and Ireland, in honour of one of the Church’s most beloved saints.
Join us in prayer and pilgrimage as we honour St. Thérèse and give thanks for this grace-filled encounter.
